Around 3:50 a.m. Sept. 19, Stanley Mission RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle collision on Highway 915 approximately 15 kilometers south of Stanley Mission. There were five occupants in the car – all adults from Stanley Mission. A 36-year-old female passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. All other occupants were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, La Ronge Fire, La Ronge EMS and La Ronge and Stanley Mission RCMP all attended the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. RCMP will not be releasing the name of the deceased.
