Sudden death reported on Onion Lake FN

RCMP are reporting a death on Onion Lake First Nation. They state in a news release that on Jan. 21, after 7 p.m., Onion Lake RCMP received a report of a deceased person off of Highway 797, in the Onion Lake Cree Nation.

RCMP are reporting a death on Onion Lake First Nation.

They state in a news release that on Jan. 21, after 7 p.m., Onion Lake RCMP received a report of a deceased person off of Highway 797, in the Onion Lake Cree Nation.

The individual is identified as 32-year-old Braden Richard Bull, of Little Pine First Nation, SK. His family has been notified.

RCMP say that officers secured the scene and had requested the Coroner and additional RCMP resources to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing. Saskatchewan RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section is investigating, with several RCMP units including Onion Lake Detachment providing assistance. An autopsy is to take place in Saskatoon.
