Wednesday, Jan. 15, at approximately 10 p.m., Battlefords RCMP were called to a residence on the 1800 block of Trudeau street for a complaint of two males who were seen standing outside a residence with a long barrelled firearm.
Police arrived on scene and did not immediately locate anyone.
Police determined that no shots were fired and there were no injuries. The subsequent investigation led officers to another residence where several suspects were arrested.
This was not a random incident.
Charges and further arrests are pending.
