On Oct. 12, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Yorkton RCMP, Yorkton Fire Department and Yorkton EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 309 approximately six km east of the No. 9 junction.
A black pick-up truck was located in a ditch and a tractor pulling an air seeder was on the highway.
The 63 year old driver of the pick-up truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed for nine hours, then was re-opened.
Yorkton RCMP are continuing the investigation .
