On April 30 at 8 a.m., Maidstone RCMP, Lloydminster Rescue and WPD Ambulance were dispatched to a collision involving a school bus and a truck on Highway 3 west of Paradise Hill.
The eastbound bus was making a left hand turn when a truck collided with it. The truck rolled into the north ditch. The school bus received minor damage and was still driveable.
There were 10 students on the bus, and the RCMP is not aware of any injuries reported to bus occupants at this time. The lone adult male driver of the truck was checked by EMS and released at scene with no injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
