Unity RCMP seeks fraud suspects

Unity RCMP have warrants issued for the arrest of 36-year-old Allan Eugene Opikokew of Dillon and 33-year-old Candace Kelly Gerard of Saskatoon. Unity RCMP are seeking to arrest the two subjects for an incident that occurred in Unity on Oct.

Unity RCMP have warrants issued for the arrest of 36-year-old Allan Eugene Opikokew of Dillon and 33-year-old Candace Kelly Gerard of Saskatoon.

Unity RCMP are seeking to arrest the two subjects for an incident that occurred in Unity on Oct. 4, when the two entered a local financial establishment and attempted to defraud the institution by uttering forged Government of Canada cheques. Both subjects presented documents to establish their identities that were determined to be falsified.

Both subjects were later located that same date by the Biggar RCMP and again provided false identifications which resulted in them being released for court under assumed identities.

Allan Eugene Opikokew is wanted for: knowingly utter a forged document; breaching his probation order; obstructing a police officer; attempted fraud; personation with intent.

Candace Kelly Gerard is wanted for: attempted fraud; uttering a forged document; uttering forged identification x2; personation with intent; obstruction of a police officer.
