UPDATE: Leksi Jimmy was located safe and sound Thursday evening by the Edmonton Police Service.

Cut Knife RCMP would like to thank the Edmonton Police Service, the public and the media for their assistance.

BACKGROUND: The Cut Knife RCMP is requesting assistance from the public in locating a youth last seen on August 5, 2020 at approximately 10 p.m. at Poundmaker Cree Nation. Eleven-year-old Leksi Jimmy is described as an Indigenous female, 5'4", medium build with longer than collar length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, with a black and white flannel hooded sweater, blue sweat pants, and black 'NIKE' slide-style shoes.

At this time, police do not have any indication that Leksi Jimmy has come to harm, however, because of her age police want to locate her to ensure she is safe.
