UPDATE: On Saturday, June 8, the Battlefords RCMP and the “F” Division Emergency Response Team executed a high risk Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Warrant at a residence on the 1100 block of 106th street in North Battleford.

RCMP arrested three adult males and five adult females from the residence without incident. The subsequent search revealed several firearms, stolen property, and evidence of drug trafficking.

The investigation is continuing and charges are pending against several of the arrested subjects.

This is a complex investigation involving investigators from several specialized units, as a result an update on charges will be provided later, says the RCMP.

BACKGROUND: On June 8, at 3 a.m., the execution of a search warrant by Saskatchewan RCMP caused an increase in police presence on the 1100 block of 106 Street in North Battleford.

All suspects were arrested without incident.

RCMP police officers will continue to access the area to further the investigation.
