Matt Pruden (left) with his son and Mark Richardson (right) from the Battlefords 100 Men Who Care, came to the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre recently to drop off a cheque for $5,400 for the Empty Stocking Fund.
Erin Katerynych, executive director, says, “It’s a great start for the Empty Stocking Fund! … Their generous donation will be used to ‘Share the Joy’ this holiday season.”
Last year the Empty Stocking Fund handed out 468 Christmas Hampers. Almost 800 children received toys as well.
“I anticipate about the same numbers again this year if not more,” says Katerynych.
