Battleford town council is honouring Pride with a newly repainted crosswalk in front of Battleford Town Hall. A ceremony took place Wednesday evening. Bobbiesue Thom spoke of the Stonewall Riots, which were violent confrontations between police and gay rights activists outside the Stonewall Inn in New York.
