Downtown Battleford was filled with interesting sights, smells and people this past weekend.
The Battleford Community Spirit Group hosted its first street festival on Saturday. The event’s offerings, along with warm weather, attracted the biggest crowd in downtown Battleford since the parade this summer.
The event included food, entertainment, a car showing, and vendors selling various items, draws, face painting and horse-drawn wagon rides.
