North Battleford Community Safety Officers have been assisting RCMP in looking into reports of a bear seen in the Riverview area.
Yesterday calls came in that a bear was seen in the King Hill area and today calls came in about a bear, possibly a cub or juvenile, spotted on the hill behind the Don Ross Centre.
As a bear in a residential area is a public danger, sightings should be reported to the RCMP or Ministry of Environment office in North Battleford at 446-7416 or call the TIPP line, 24-hours a day, at 1-800-667-7561 or from your SaskTel cell phone at #5555.
