The kick off to the summer’s No Frills block parties took place Thursday evening downtown.
The City of North Battleford is encouraging residents to get to know who lives next to them and introduce everyone to each other by hosting their own block parties. City Hall says get creative with the location, you could host it in your backyard or even a city park, play games, have a picnic or create your own art alley with your neighbours.
You can apply to host a block party and receive a $200 food voucher from Frazer’s No Frill. Get the application and ideas on the City of North Battleford’s website.
