Christmas for Kids

Residents of River Heights Lodge took part Wednesday afternoon in a cause bound to bring smiles to kids around the world. They were stuffing shoeboxes for the Operation Christmas Child spearheaded by the Samaritan’s Purse organization. According to Mona Bruynooghe of Samaritan’s Purse, the residents at River Heights Lodge stuffed 38 boxes with toys, which will be distributed to boys and girls in Africa and central America. Countries where the boxes will go are Senegal, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Photos by John Cairns
