The City of North Battleford has launched its new service request portal for residents of the community. It can be found at www.cityofnb.ca and can be accessed by clicking on the “Service Request” tab next to the “City Government” tab.

The City of North Battleford has launched its new service request portal for residents of the community.

It can be found at www.cityofnb.ca and can be accessed by clicking on the “Service Request” tab next to the “City Government” tab. This is in addition to the general inquiry number of 306-445-1700 that residents can phone.

The city states the new service tracking software will allow the request to be automatically assigned to the right department and for the City to track requests from submission, assignment, work-in-progress to completion.

According to a city news release, residents can use the service request portal to report the following:

malfunctioning traffic lights

damaged sidewalk

potholes and road maintenance

litter in parks/sidewalks

low water pressure

graffiti

issues with website www.cityofnb.ca

drainage/culvert issues

snow/ice removal/sanding

tree-trimming/removal

additional trash or recycling cart or additional pickups

billing information for taxes/utilities

grass cutting for public spaces

general inquiries.

Individuals can upload images with their requests to show the issue they are reporting on. A name, phone number and email address is required from all those submitting the service request.

It should be noted bylaw enforcement and fire and emergency requests cannot be made through this portal. Community Safety Officers can be contacted at 306-445-1775.
