It was all about shopping for a cause at Sip, Sparkle and Shop, hosted by Discovery Co-op Thursday evening. Shoppers got a head start on their Christmas shopping while helping to raise funds for Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation’s capital campaign, “Ready. Set. Baby!” Proceeds from the campaign will purchase new fetal monitors and birthing beds for the labour and delivery unit at BUH. Shoppers were able to indulge in delectable appetizers and experience a variety of cocktails, wine and beer from several high-profile distilleries and breweries. The Co-op and mall businesses “pulled out all the stops to present a sparkling night like no other.” There were living statues, a fashion show, games, raffles and more.
