As of Wednesday, Sept. 16 the NationsWEST Field House is back open.
That was announced at Monday’s council meeting by director of leisure services Cheryl DeNeire. Hours are Wednesday-Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. those days.
Most features of the Field House will be available including the walking track, fitness equipment and courts and fields.
A number of COVID-19 related restrictions and protocols have been put in place. The fitness equipment is being spaced two to three metres apart for social distancing.
Masks are not required for patrons, but people are encouraged to bring masks if they can’t physically distance.
