A special family and friends event was held at the new Giant Tiger store in downtown North Battleford Friday evening, with plans to open to the public at 8 a.m. Saturday morning, with more activities lined up to celebrate. A crowd turned out for the pre-opening event and a sneak peak at what was to come. The parking was difficult for some but Saskatchewan Regional Manager Chris Beblow said he believes once the excitement dies down the parking will be adequate.
