A GoFundMe page has been set up for the husband of homicide victim Sheena Billette of La Ronge.
The page is set up under the title “Help us raise funds for widowed father of 4.” The link is at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-raise-funds-for-widowed-father-of-4 and is set up for Jarvis Slinn by Jasmine Slinn, his sister.
“As you can imagine, Jarvis is absolutely devastated and completely traumatized by the fact that Sheena’s life was tragically taken away by such a senseless act of violence,” her statement reads on the GoFundMe site. “Sheena was a loving and caring mom to her children. She would do anything to protect and provide for them, and her loss will have a significant impact on their children’s lives forever. Jarvis and the children will need all the support that we can give during this extremely difficult time.”
A goal of $50,000 has been set for the campaign. Billette was found deceased Dec. 23. Four people have been charged this week with first-degree murder in connection to her death.
