International Day of Pink will be seeing some changes this year.

The day of solidarity against bullying and discrimination is scheduled for April 8, but will see a few differences due to COVID-19. People are still encouraged to don pink clothing and celebrate the day through social media and other methods.

People are urged to “bust out your pink clothes, jump on a conference call with friends or post on social media! International Day of Pink is most certainly still on,” according to a news release.

As an extra incentive they are entering anyone that celebrates #VirtualDayofPink into a raffle to win an exclusive art piece by Kent Monkman. People can also download social media images they hope to circulate this year, as well as colouring books. Their website is www.dayofpink.org.
