Interval House commemorates National Day of Remembrance and Action On Violence Against Women

At Discovery Co-op, Battlefords Interval House and Catholic Family Services hosted their annual event on Wednesday Dec. 6, to commemorate this year's National Day of Remembrance and Action On Violence Against Women. A number of commemoration events were held across the country. The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women was established in 1991 to mark the anniversary of the murders of 14 women at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1989. The program was followed by coffee and cake.
