Watch out for potholes and pedestrians

As if COVID-19 wasn’t enough for North Battleford residents to worry about, now it’s also pothole season.

The City of North Battleford has sent out a news releasej asking motorists to drive with due care and attention to road conditions, as more potholes are appearing with the spring thaw.

Motorists are advised not to drive through pools of water on the street. they should drive around them if safe to do so. If impossible to drive around the water, the City’s Operations Department recommends driving slowly through it, as there may be deep potholes hidden underneath.

Drivers are asked to slow down, drive with caution, avoid driving through pools of water, if possible, and to report problem potholes to City Hall by calling 306-445-1700.
