Maverick Party holding info sessions Saturday

The newly-formed Maverick Party will be in North Battleford this Saturday to hold information sessions for potential supporters. According to the party, the sessions will be held at Don Ross Centre Room 107, at 1 p.m. 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The newly-formed Maverick Party will be in North Battleford this Saturday to hold information sessions for potential supporters.

According to the party, the sessions will be held at Don Ross Centre Room 107, at 1 p.m. 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., with COVID-19 protocols in place. Those attending should RSVP beforehand at 306 823 3522.

The plan is to provide information about the party at those sessions. The guest speaker is Allan Kerpan, deputy leader and a former MP.

The party, which promotes a western independence message, had recently scheduled similar meetings in Paradise Hill, Edam and Unity. They recently started up an electoral district association in Battlefords-Lloydminster, and are currently actively recruiting potential party members in the hopes of running candidates in the next federal election.
