NB Public Library re-opens

After a long closure due to COVID-19, the North Battleford Public Library is now open again. The library re-opened to the public Sept. 9 with some revised service levels. According to their Facebook page, regular hours are Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.

After a long closure due to COVID-19, the North Battleford Public Library is now open again.

The library re-opened to the public Sept. 9 with some revised service levels. According to their Facebook page, regular hours are Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.- 6 p.m., with the 10-11 a.m. hour reserved for seniors and vulnerable people. The library is closed Sundays.

There are limits to the number of people in the library and patrons are allowed to stay for a total of 30 minutes. There will be sanitization taking place of computers and touch surfaces and all browsed and returned books are being quarantined for 72 hours.

Contactless pickup will continue Monday-Wednesday between 6-8:30 p.m. and Thursday-Friday between 10-11 a.m.
