Fairview Heights is the city's northernmost neighbourhood, along with Killdeer Park.
This neighbourhood began development around 1978 and continued to grow throughout the ‘80s. Every new street is named after the next longest tenured councillor or mayor. The continuing development in this suburban neighbourhood is guided by the Fairview Heights Master Plan.
