Two new deaths were reported Tuesday in the province’s daily COVID-19 report, one of which was in the 80+ age group in the North West zone.
It was the second day in a row reporting deaths in the North West Zone. Monday, one death was reported in the 19 and under age group and another was reported in the 70 to 79 group, also in the North West zone.
That brings the death toll in the North West among people diagnosed with COVID-19 to 71.
There are 120 active cases in the North West as of Tuesday, with 14 people in hospital.
