Of the 3,263active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Friday, 269 are in the North West, up from 254 yesterday, according to the government’s Saskatchewan Dashboard. There 23 new cases reported in the North West.

There are eight people in the North West in hospital, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. One of those patients is in intensive care.

In the Battlefords, subzone North West 4, active cases are up to110 from 104 yesterday, with 10 new cases recorded.

In the North West 3 subzone, there are 60 active cases, one up from yesterday, with three new cases. North West 3 includes the communities of Big Shell, Cut Knife, Denholm, Echo Bay, Hafford, Krydor, Landis, Leoville, Maymont, Medstead, Richard, Ruddell, Scott, Shell Lake, Speers, Spiritwood, Unity and Wilkie.

There are eight people in the North West in hospital, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. One of those patients is in intensive care.

In the Battlefords, subzone North West 4, active cases are up to104 from 93 yesterday, with 12 new cases recorded.

In the North West 3 subzone, there are 59 active cases, one up from yesterday, with two new cases. Nov. 25 – Only one new case in the North West

Of the 3,012 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Wednesday, 236 are in the North West, down from 247 yesterday, according to the government’s Saskatchewan Dashboard. There was only one new case reported in the North West.

There are eight people in the North West in hospital, one more than yesterday, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. Two of those patients are in intensive care, the same as yesterday.

In the Battlefords, subzone North West 4, active cases are down to 93 from 100 yesterday, with no new cases recorded.

In the North West 3 subzone, there are 58 active cases, the same as yesterday, with no new cases. Nov. 24 – Active cases continue rising in the North West

Of the 2,927 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Tuesday, 247 are in the North West, up seven from yesterday, according to the government’s Saskatchewan Dashboard. There are 14 new cases reported in the North West, four more than yesterday.

There are seven people in the North West in hospital, the same yesterday, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. Two of those patients are in intensive care, an increase of one since yesterday.

In the Battlefords, subzone North West 4, active cases are up to 100 from 94 yesterday, with seven new cases recorded.

In the North West 3 subzone, there are 58 active cases, down two from yesterday, with no new cases. North West 3 includes the communities of Big Shell, Cut Knife, Denholm, Echo Bay, Hafford, Krydor, Landis, Leoville, Maymont, Medstead, Richard, Ruddell, Scott, Shell Lake, Speers, Spiritwood, Unity and Wilkie.

Nov. 23 – A death reported in the North West

One resident over the age of 80 from the North West zone has died, according to Monday’s COVID-19 report from the government.

 Of the 2,864 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Monday, 240 are in the North West, down four from yesterday, according to the government’s Saskatchewan Dashboard. There are 10 new cases reported in the North West, seven fewer than yesterday.

There are now seven people in the North West in hospital, one less than yesterday, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. One of those patients is in intensive care.

There are now eight people in the North West in hospital, the same as yesterday, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. There are no patients in intensive care in the North West.

In the Battlefords, subzone North West 4, active cases have risen from 97 yesterday to 99 today, with six new cases recorded.

In the North West 3 subzone, there are 59 active cases, up from 55 yesterday, with four new cases. Nov. 21 – Eight in hospital in North West

Of the 2,537 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Saturday, 233 are in the North West, up from 182 yesterday, according to the government’s Saskatchewan Dashboard. There are 56 new cases reported in the North West, compared with 11 yesterday. Officials indicate today’s numbers are partly influenced by a high number of tests being done and a backlog in testing due to weather. They have decided to include a seven-day average in the daily update. Saskatchewan’s seven-day average is 203 as of today.

There are now eight people in the North West in hospital, up from five yesterday, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals. There are no patients in intensive care in the North West.

Across the province, 28 deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported, including two announced Saturday: one individual in their 60s from the Far North West and an individual in their 50s from the North East; and one announced Sunday: in their 80s from the Saskatoon zone.

A total of 3,897 cases across the province have been reported to the public since the outbreak. Of those 2,747 have recovered.

Nov. 7 - Two in hospital with COVID-19 in North West

Of the 985 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Saturday, 77 are in the North West, up from 68 yesterday, according to the government’s Saskatchewan Dashboard. Yesterday, three people in the North West were receiving inpatient care, while today only two are in hospital, although the government has not indicated which hospital or hospitals are caring for them. The two deaths reported Saturday are not in the North West.

North West 3 includes the communities of Big Shell, Cut Knife, Denholm, Echo Bay, Hafford, Krydor, Landis, Leoville, Maymont, Medstead, Richard, Ruddell, Scott, Shell Lake, Speers, Spiritwood, Unity and Wilkie. There are 37 active cases, up from 33 yesterday, and four new cases.

North West 2 includes the communities of Denzil, Lashburn, Lloydminster, Macklin, Maidstone, Marsden, Marshall, Neilburg, Paynton, Primate, Senlac and Waseca. There is one new case, bringing the total to 21 active cases Saturday.

North West 4 is made up of the communities of Battleford and North Battleford. There are 13 active cases Saturday, with two new cases.

North West 3 includes the communities of Big Shell, Cut Knife, Denholm, Echo Bay, Hafford, Krydor, Landis, Leoville, Maymont, Medstead, Richard, Ruddell, Scott, Shell Lake, Speers, Spiritwood, Unity and Wilkie. There are 30 active cases, up six from Monday. There are seven new cases.
