Possible COVID-19 exposure in Lloydminster

Public Health officials in Saskatchewan have issued a public health advisory to residents of Lloydminster and area about an individual who tested COVID-19 positive who visited a number of locations in the city.

Public Health officials in Saskatchewan have issued a public health advisory to residents of Lloydminster and area about an individual who tested COVID-19 positive who visited a number of locations in the city.

The individual was likely infectious when visiting the following locations June 27 and July 5, 2020:

Wal-Mart

Superstore

Goodknight Inn; and

Superlodge Motel

Public health officials are advising individuals at these locations during these dates to immediately self-isolate if they have had symptoms of COVID-19 and call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing.

COVID-19 symptoms include: fever, chills, cough, headache, aches and pains, sore throat, runny nose, loss of smell, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Anyone with any of these symptoms must self-isolate immediately and call HealthLine 811 or the local public health office (306-441-1364) for further information.
