It seems like the rain shows up more often than not for the annual RCMP barbecue during National Police Week. As usual the event was held in front of the Battlefords RCMP detachment on Wednesday, giving local RCMP members a chance to interact with the public. Despite soggy conditions, it was a good turnout as RCMP members cooked up burgers for local residents, with proceeds from the sales of burgers and drinks going towards the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club.
