Saskatchewan RCMP is advising motorists that there may be a delay of police and emergency services due to extremely poor road conditions in parts of the province. Travel is not recommended in many areas at this time.
Currently officers are reporting that there is reduced visibility, strong wind, ice formation and blowing snow in the Kindersley and Rosetown areas. Similar conditions are being reported across Saskatchewan.
As conditions are likely to change throughout the province, please check your local weather and the Highway Hotline for up-to-date road conditions: http://hotline.gov.sk.ca/map.html
“We recommend drivers be mindful of all warnings, travel advisories and closure notices,” said RCMP in a statement released Wednesday evening.
