UPDATE: The RCMP’s non-emergency phone line, 306-310-RCMP (7267) is operating normally again, say RCMP as of 1:30 p.m.
BACKGROUND: This morning -
RCMP report that the main RCMP line in the province, 306-310-RCMP (7267), is not operating at this time.
"We are currently working with SaskTel to address the issue," say RCMP.
911 is still working for emergency calls.
If you require police assistance for a non-emergency situation, please call your local RCMP Detachment (find the phone number here: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/detach/en/find/SK) or wait until 306-310-RCMP is operational.
"We will advise when more information becomes available or when the situation is rectified," say RCMP.
