From the city's news release, here is a rundown of construction work happening:
100th Street 12th to 14th Avenue
Underground Utility work is planned to begin July 2 with the replacement of water mains and underground building service connections. The work will begin on the 1200 block and move northward. Roadway reconstruction work is planned to begin August 10 with the project planned to be complete September 26th. The 1200 and 1300 blocks of 100th Street will be closed to traffic, but pedestrian access to businesses will remain open from the back alley. Water service disruptions are expected on the 1200 and 1300 blocks of 100th Street while the underground pipework proceeds. Businesses will be notified prior to service disruptions and affected addresses will be on a drinking water advisory. Downtown businesses will remain open with alternate access in place. Visitors to downtown businesses are encouraged to plan their trips ahead of time and to leave a little extra time to find parking. Motorists using 100th Street and Railway Avenue as a route through the centre of the city are encouraged to use Territorial Drive as an alternate route to get around the city, and to avoid traffic congestion on local roads around downtown while the work is underway. Underground work will be performed by Sanburn Construction, and Roadways by G&C Asphalt.
95th Street 15th to 16th Avenue
Underground Utility work is planned for July 24 to September 4 along 95th Street from 15th to 16th Avenue. Road closures, water service disruptions, and drinking water advisories will be in place. Roadway restoration will follow the underground work and is expected to be completed by September 30th. Underground work will be performed by Sanburn Construction, and Roadways by G&C Asphalt.
110th Street 8th to 9th Avenue
Underground Utility work is planned for June 15 to June 30 along 110th Street from 8th to 9th Avenue. Road closures, water service disruptions, and drinking water advisories will be in place. Roadway restoration will follow the underground work and is expected to be completed by July 25. Underground work will be performed by Sanburn Construction, and Roadways by G&C Asphalt.
101st Street 19th to 20th Avenue
Underground Utility work is planned for August 10 to August 21 along 101st Street from 19th to 20th Avenue. Road closures, water service disruptions, and drinking water advisories will be in place. Roadway restoration will follow the underground work and is expected to be completed by September 12. Underground work will be performed by Sanburn Construction, and Roadways by G&C Asphalt.
Carlton Trail / Yellow Sky Drive Improvements
Underground Utility work is underway to install a new water main along Yellow Sky Drive, and drainage infrastructure at the intersection with Carlton Trail. Underground work is planned to be complete by June 15, with road construction to follow. Road closures and lane restrictions will be in place as the work proceeds. No further water service disruptions are planned in the area. Roadway construction is planned to be completed by July 25. The work includes constructing a centre median along Carlton Trail to prohibit left turns and through North-South movements at the intersection with Frontier Way, as well as the construction of a new signalized full movement intersection at Yellow Sky Drive, and the extension of Yellow Sky Drive to the North.
