Battleford’s postponed downtown street festival is taking place this weekend, on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 21. The Fall Festival and Street Fair is hosted by the Battleford Community Spirit Group.
There are more than 30 vendors planning to be there, including food vendors.
Look for a Show and Shine, a pie baking contest, balloons, face painting, music, wagon rides and a sidewalk sale.
The event gets started at noon and runs until 5 p.m. on 22nd Street.
An earlier version of this first-time event had to be postponed cue to a major wind and rain event. But this Saturday’s forecast is for a warm, sunny day.
