Share in the Lights of Joy project, party in Battleford next Saturday evening Nov. 23

Discovery Co-op has partnered with Battleford Community Spirit Group to assist with the final blitz to sell the remaining bulbs for the Lights of Joy project, which aims to light up the trees around the gazebo on Battleford’s main street. Customers are able to purchase bulbs for $2 each at Battleford Discovery Co-op Grocery and the Convenience Store and Gas Bar. On Nov. 23, the lights will be turned on during a community party from 6 to 8 p.m. at the park in downtown Battleford. There will be music and complimentary cookies and hot beverages provided.
