If it seems like the streets in North Battleford aren’t being cleared of enough snow, you aren’t imagining things.
The city of North Battleford is reporting a breakdown to a moldboard blade on one of the City’s two main graders.
That has resulted in slower-than-usual snow removal on the city’s streets, although the city reports that their Roadways Department continues to remove snow as quickly as possible.
In a news release the city reports that a rush order was placed on the grader parts, and the city says those are expected to arrive today. The grader should be in service tomorrow morning.
Once it is back in operation, regular street clearing operations will resume. The city is thanking residents for their patience and understanding during this delay.
