The city of North Battleford will hold a special council meeting Thursday, June 25.
The meeting will be held virtually on the ZOOM platform at 5:15 p.m. and only one item is on the agenda: the COVID-19 re-opening plan and related matters. At the State of the City 2.0 address last week Mayor Ryan Bater indicated there would be discussion at this meeting of financial implications.
This meeting comes on the heels of the rollout by the province of Phase 4 of Re-Open Saskatchewan. Under part two of that plan libraries, museums, galleries, movie theatres and live event theatres can re-open Monday, June 29. The province has not set a date yet for indoor pools and rinks and indoor sports and activities.
