‘Stocky’ Edwards, fighter pilot, turns 100

Canada’s greatest living fighter pilot, who grew up in Battleford, has turned 100 at his home in Comox, British Columbia.

James Francis “Stocky” Edwards  was Canada’s highest scoring ace in the Western Desert Campaign during the Second World War.
