Two deaths in the North West, one in 19 and under group

Three new deaths were reported Monday in the Saskatchewan government’s daily COVID-19 report. One death was reported in the 19 and under age group in the North West zone, and one death was reported in the 70 to 79 group, also in the North West zone.

Three new deaths were reported Monday in the Saskatchewan government’s daily COVID-19 report. One death was reported in the 19 and under age group in the North West zone, and one death was reported in the 70 to 79 group, also in the North West zone. The third death was reported in the 60 to 69 age group in the North Central Zone.

The North West saw 126 active cases reported. Across the province, recoveries total 45,736 and 1,142 cases are considered active, the lowest active case total since Nov. 8, 2020.

Ten of the 68 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan were in the North West.

By subzone, North West 1 had 29 active cases, North West 2 had 50 cases, North West 3 had 14 and North West 4, the Battleford, had 33 active cases.

There are 10 people in hospital in the North West.
