Kevin Gorski’s breakfast got extra interesting after he checked his Western 649 ticket and discovered he won $100,000 on the March 10 Extra draw.
“I was eating breakfast and scanning a few tickets on the mobile app,” he said. “This was the last ticket I had to check.”
“When the number came up on the screen, I had to do a double-take,” he laughed. “I thought, ‘That can’t be right…’ but it was!”
The Meadow Lake winner said he has a couple plans for his winnings.
“My wife and I would like to do some travelling when it’s safe to do so,” he said. “We’d also like to put some money away for our kids.”
“The nicest thing about this win is that it will make our life a little bit easier.”
Gorski purchased his winning ticket at HWY 4 Service, located at 308 9th St. West in Meadow Lake. He won the second-highest Extra prize by matching six out of the seven Extra numbers – 4676881.
