The New Democrats now have in place candidates in all 61 ridings in Saskatchewan and one of them is Matt Fedler in Cut Knife-Turtleford.

Fedler was one of 12 NDP candidates announced last Friday by the party. He is from the Battlefords and had previously been the NDP’s candidate in the Battlefords-Lloydminster byelection in 2017.

On Twitter, Fedler stated “I’m honoured to be able to represent the NDP in Cut Knife - Turtleford for the upcoming provincial election, and to be joining a strong team of candidates fighting to Put People First in Saskatchewan!”

The seat had been held for the past nine years by outgoing MLA Larry Doke, who recently became mayor of Metinota. The Saskatchewan Party is running Ryan Domotor in this election. Election Day is Oct. 26.
