Festival Day at Frenchman Butte Aug. 14

Frenchman Butte Heritage Center’s Festival Day, Sunday Aug. 14, begins at 10:30 a.m. with an open-air interdenominational church service. There will be free shuttles from parking to the grounds. Exhibits open to visitors at 11 a.m.

Frenchman Butte Heritage Center’s Festival Day, Sunday Aug. 14, begins at 10:30 a.m. with an open-air interdenominational church service.

There will be free shuttles from parking to the grounds.

Exhibits open to visitors at 11 a.m. There will be pioneer skills demonstrations, a classic car display and stage entertainment until 4 p.m.

A street parade begins at 1 p.m.

There will also be a silent auction from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Visitors are invited to play a round of mini-golf on the brand new course. There will be a playground and face painting for the youngsters. Food includes hot dogs, coffee, sodas, pies, ice cream and a roast beef dinner at 5 p.m. (adults $10, children six to 10 $5, under six free).
