Bean's Greens Greenhouse and Market Garden held its official opening May 5.
Despite the cool wind and overcast skies, it was plenty warm inside the greenhouse as gardening enthusiasts browsed for the ideal plant for their yards.
Donn and Nicole Pool and family have embarked on a new and exciting business venture on their home quarter 16 kilometres northwest of Blaine Lake along Highway 12.
A large selection of floral plants including snow daisies, petunias, coleus, African daisies and pansies filled the shelves in flats, pots and decorative containers while hanging baskets highlighted cascading varieties. Herbs, ornamental grasses and vegetable plants were also available.
The cucumbers and tomatoes are forming and will soon be ready for the market garden.
