More fence panels stolen from oil well sites

The Maidstone RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating persons involved in the theft of cattle fence panels around the Lloydminster area.

RCMP say 50 fence panels were stolen from oil well site north of Maidstone on Sept. 10. On Sept. 11, another 20 fence panels were stolen from a oil well site north of Lashburn.

According to RCMP, persons involved are operating in the early morning hours after midnight. Oil well sites containing the cattle fence panels are entered and the panels loaded onto a trailer.

At least two people are believed to be involved.

Since late 2014 there have been at least 13 occurrences where significant amounts of these panels have been stolen from communities surrounding Lloydminster.

Maidstone RCMP ask that if you see suspicious activities involving cattle panels, please advise your local RCMP or Crimestoppers.
