An annual event goes ahead Saturday, as Borden Threshermen host their annual threshing day. The gates at the site, two miles north of Highway 16, open at 10 a.m.

An annual event goes ahead Saturday, as Borden Threshermen host their annual threshing day.

The gates at the site, two miles north of Highway 16, open at 10 a.m. There will be a parade at noon featuring antique horse-drawn and gas-powered farm machinery.

There will be a cook car, horse drawn demonstrations and potato digging. Threshing begins at 2 p.m.

There will be musical entertainment at the site beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Borden Museum is open from 2 to 6 p.m.

There is a beef supper in the Borden Community Centre from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
