A welcome tea was held for the new doctors and their families Aug. 30, in the ceremonial room of the Riverside Health Care Facility.
Approximately 80 people came out to meet the doctors. Sharon Drewlo, on behalf of Lakeland CHAN, welcomed everyone and introduced Dr. Raghu Dandugula and family, Dr.Imran Ghauri and family and Dr. Mzi Tshatshela.
Red Pearce, on behalf of Municipal Health Holdings, talked about how fortunate we are to have three doctors willing to come to our area.
Neil Sylvester spoke on behalf of Prairie North Health Region, commenting on the dedication and commitment of Pat Guenther from Municipal Health Holdings in recruiting doctors to our community.
The afternoon ended with people introducing themselves to the doctors and their families and visiting with them.
