Apparently visiting the downtown stores in North Battleford used to be an event. When we came here 30 years ago, there was still a large variety of stores and one could drift from one to another. Even today, one could be easily tempted to visit different stores and combine this with professional services.
It is hard to understand how the current parking arrangements and policing make the city centre all that attractive, especially for the elderly and anyone travelling in an RV.
