Over this last weekend, the community lost two valuable citizens, Barb and Dean Bauche, formerly of 82 - 1st Ave. West in Battleford. They have moved to Eastend.
Barb served on the town committee that planned the Trans Canada Trail used by many citizens. This is but one example of her activities.
Dean is very well known as an artist, former director of the Allen Sapp Gallery, educator, and his involvement in the Opera House restoration project in Battleford.
Sometimes trivial things make the news, sometimes stories are not told.
This one needs to be acknowledged.
