I read the article “NDP leader Meili explains rising health costs” (News-Optimist, July 17). He forgot to mention all the millions spent on the unions.
The unions protect the users and abusers, where do their paycheques come from? Not the union, us working people. Too bad the union wouldn't work with employers to weed out the users and abusers instead of protecting them. Then there would be a lot more money for health care.
