An Enduring Love — On Oct. 22, 1948, William (Bill) Neville married Gwyneth Milburn. William is now 95 and Gwyneth 88. The Battleford residents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary at Kihiw Restaurant at Gold Eagle Casino. The couple are retired from dairy farming. They farmed in the Iffley, Hatherleigh area.

Guy’s Furniture Supports New Beginnings — Josh Klassen, manager, Guy’s Furniture and Appliances, presents a cheque for $5,000 to Ben Christensen, Saskatchewan Hospital New Beginnings campaign volunteer. This donation will be used to purchase necessary medical equipment and furnishings for the new Saskatchewan Hospital in North Battleford. The campaign is currently about $250,000 away from reaching its $8 million goal and patients and staff are expected to start moving in next month. Photo submitted
