The #StarsStandStrong Mental Health Initiative’s first mental health awareness event was held Saturday. It was the Youth Street Hockey Tournament and barbecue, with all proceeds going back to the community. Nine teams took part and it was Team Grinders who ended up victorious in the finales. According to the North Stars’ Facebook page, a total of $1,600 was raised for mental health services in the community. Photos by John Cairns
